Recently I was blessed to be able to take my mom on an Alaskan cruise on Noreweigen Bliss out of Seattle. My mom and I stayed two nights in Seattle at the Grand Hyatt downtown. This hotel location is extremely close to the Port of Seattle and Pike Place Market.
Review of Grand Hyatt Seattle
I honestly have nothing but great things to say about our stay at The Grand Hyatt Seattle. Customer service and quality are the two words that come to mind.
*Check-In upon arrival was prompt and easy!
*Our bell hop delivered our bags quickly and provided valuable information for the city.
*My room was beautiful and clean!
My mother and I were treated to complimentary champagne and a cheese plate for my her birthday. The front desk did ask at check in if we had a celebration for anything special.
During our stay we used the hotel sauna, hot tub, steam room, and gym which were clean and well kept. It was impressive that the hotel had a sauna. At home I have a sauna and love the health benefits of using a one. Sauna Benefits
Hotel staff made it a point to greet us if we were entering or exiting the hotel.Check out was easy peasy! Valet service was able to easily call a taxi for us to get transported to the pier when it was time to leave for our cruise. The bell hop moved our bags for us to the taxi too-which we were so grateful for as they were heavy!
Seattle can be an expensive city. Honestly, I found all hotels were pricy for our dates of travel. I booked through Hotels.com which is what I typically use to book hotels if not staying somewhere specific for work etc. Personally, I like their rewards program and think it is simple compared to others.
In conclusion, I would certainly recommend this hotel and I would stay there again if in the area.
City Tips:
Dragonfish Asian Cafe was our choice for lunch one day- it was delicious! DragonFish Cafe
In our downtime we walked over to Pacific Place Mall and it had a great selection!
